SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 - This business was started during a global pandemic, with our desire to bring freshly frozen fish and seafood of many kinds to Missouri residents, retail businesses and restaurants in Missouri. We have spent many hours studying the genetics of the novel coronavirus with a potential advanced respiratory disease payload and followed all the leading epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists and biologists in the USA and other countries. Rather than a physical storefront, our investment is in delivery vehicles, including vans upfitted using the most modern Thermo King freezing units.
We secured for Missourians the best wild caught fish and seafood from what we believe is the best body of water. The product is processed by the best producer and consistently frozen at deep temperatures and passed to a refrigerated shipping company with over 130 years of experience. The product is received at a business in St. Louis with decades of experience with sensitive logistics in the shipping/receiving world. We then extradite it to you at your door, outside, in as contactless manner as possible. We will hold product until this very last exchange is completed in person.
Because of this, we do not take your Credit Card currently in ordering until we build your trust. You will be invoiced and can pay by check or cash upon delivery. We are underwriting this secure chain of custody by the trust we have in our business partners! We insist with our producer to give us product that has been flash frozen long enough to destroy any virus per the most conservative scientific studies. Our logistics ensures you receive that product with an excessive amount of caution and care.
Once you take custody, please remember to wash your hands thoroughly before and after food prep and cooking. See our Facebook page to see we are real.
Our motivating ethos: "Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days. Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth."
For a simple classic everyone loves, coat your fish in your favorite cornmeal + spices: lemon pepper, garlic, some salt (or not!) and fry in oil of your choice. You should have this at least once per week!
Halibut baked with a crumble coating and served with zucchini and pasta is a great example of dinner. 1 pound of Halibut served 4 with this dish. Baked or grilled over fried is a good and healthy option!
This Tuscan dish with cream and cooked with Wild Gulf Shrimp and Cape Cod Scallops, topped with tomatoes and chopped beet leaves was a Mediterranean delight for a special night.
