Swordfish is offloaded up and down the Atlantic Coast as the boats follow these highly migratory fish. During the winter months these fish, and the boats, move South and the supply is very limited in New England.
A meaty, moist and flavorful option with a moderate oil content great for grilling and pan roasting. Holds up to strong flavors and seasonings. Perfect for fish kabobs. 1 portion is approx. 16 oz (1 lb). We recommend 8 oz per person.
High tech flash frozen and vacuum sealed at peak freshness from the ocean. Items delivered moderately thawed on dry ice may be put directly into your freezer to keep at restaurant quality for up to nine months, or thaw under refrigeration prior to cooking. Product has four day refrigerated shelf life.
